Shahrizat salahkan suami, anak demi survival politik

Jamil Khir khianati orang miskin, golongan layak terima zakat

Ahli Parlimen Kuala Kedah, Ahmad Kassim

‘Datuk NFC’ hanya dijadikan kambing hitam

Propaganda musuh terhenti, fokus kemungkaran BN

Sangat jelas keangkuhan Najib. Beliau bolehlah dikatakan memulakan pemujaan personaliti!

Reezal Merican dituntut mohon maaf 24 jam

NFC: Pasukan Khas SPRM perlu panggil Muhyiddin

Benarlah kata orang Malaysia Truly Asia.

Black money

According to the latest report on illegal fund movements around the world, Malaysia lost a whopping US$47 billion, or almost RM150 billion of black money overseas in 2009.
Before I comment further on this phenomenon, let us first get two questions right.
1.What is black money?
Black moneyAs the name suggests, black money is the money obtained through illicit channels. To put things in a simpler manner, it is indecent money, and siphoning such black money overseas constitutes an act of money laundering.
2. What is money laundering?
To answer this question, allow me to start with a story on the origins of money laundering.
In the 1920s, a criminal syndicate in Chicago acquired an automatic laundry machine to provide laundry services to customers for a charge, and then lumped the incomes from the syndicate's illegal activities into the legal incomes of the laundry shop and declared the tax returns together, thus rendering its illegal incomes legalised.

Why punish Adam Adli? Has he done more wrong than Najib?

Why punish Adam Adli? Has he done more wrong than Najib?I refer to the disciplinary action commenced by University Pendidikan Sultan Idris( UPSI) against student leader Adam Adli Abdul Halim over the 'Najib flag' issue. The notice dated 23.12.11 issued by UPSI's disciplinary body has brought two charges against Adam. The 1st Charge alleges, among other things, that Adam has damaged the ' good name' of UPSI and the 2nd Charge alleges that he has 'endangered morals and public order'.
Both charges are baseless, unconstitutional, illegal and plainly absurd. In lowering Prime Minister Najib Razak's flag, Adam Adli was exercising his right to freedom of expression which is guaranteed under Article 10 of the Federal Constitution.
Adam's action was a legitimate and democratic protest against Najib's failure to ensure student and academic freedom by repealing the UUCA; it was also a protest against Najib's attempt to deceive Malaysian students by announcing superficial and incomplete reforms.

Khir jailed one year for abuse of power but PKR expects him to walk free after GE

Former Selangor Mentri Besar Khir Toyo was found guilty of abusing his influence and buying a luxury home and land at a discount of up to RM3 million. He was sentenced to 12 months jail, but a stay of execution has been granted pending an appeal, which he has to do so within 14 days.
Khir jailed one year for abuse of power but PKR expects him to walk free after GEHowever, opposition leaders were unimpressed, pointing to complex internal politics within Umno that gave leeway for Khir to win his appeal after the general election, widely expected within the next few months.
"This is only a gesture. I don't think he will do any jail time at all. He will get a stay of execution pending an appeal of the sentence. Right after the general election, Khir Toyo will be a free man again. This is just cosmetics," PKR vice president Tian Chua told Malaysia Chronicle.

Rosmah's Deepak exits share market amid talk of Dr M displeasure

Deepak Jaikishan, most famous for his denial of being First Lady Rosmah Mansor's toy boy, shocked the stock market by selling his entire stake in oil-and-gas wannabe Envair Holding Bhd.
Rosmah's Deepak exits share market amid talk of Dr M displeasure His sudden and full exit, after a public assurance he was in for the long haul, lent credence to speculation that there had been objections from the highest quarters of Umno to Prime Minister Najib Razak's family entering the O&G sector on the coat-tails of national petroleum firm Petronas.
"There is talk Mahathir is not happy. Firstly, he doesn't want to share the Petronas goodies but apparently, his people also say he doesn't think Najib deserves any government contract from Petronas," an investment manager at a local stock broking firm told Malaysia Chronicle.

Mahathir's side of history: As they say, liars are sightless

Abraham Lincoln had this to say: “You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.”
Mahathir's side of history: As they say, liars are sightless They say liars are sightless. They swathe their eyes to the truth and trust that people they talk to are as dim as themselves. Why do most politicians customarily lie? They discern that the majority will follow rather than think for themselves. A lie told often enough becomes the truth. To lie in politics is a Machiavellian mode of manipulation and conspiracy.
Mahathir’s intelligence and political astuteness are generally acknowledged by his acquaintances and enemies. Mendacity or mendacious propaganda is Machiavellian. The people are already familiar  with his political  slant as he understands the Malay minds better than any of the past and present leaders in UMNO.

PAS rubbishes claim of DAP eyeing Selangor MB post

PAS and DAP have hit out at their opponents for claiming that DAP was eyeing the Menteri Besar's post in Selangor should Pakatan Rakyat be returned to power in the state in the coming polls.
PAS rubbishes claim of DAP eyeing Selangor MB post At a press conference, Selangor PAS commissioner Dr Abdul Rani Osman, his deputy Khalid Samad and state DAP chairman Teresa Kok dismissed the allegation as another of UMNO’s scare tactics among the Malay electorate.
“The question of Selangor Menteri Besar's post does not arise as we are all satisfied with Khalid Ibrahim’s performance and there is no plan to replace him.
"We are confident that through our cooperation and support for each other which we have shown so far, Selangor’s performance will improve, not the other way,” said Rani, who is also Meru state assemblyman.

Mahathir says it again: "Wasn't me"

Following PKR’s claim that the post-Anwar Ibrahim administration of Dr Mahathir Mohamad had applied for World Bank loans, the former prime minister has repeated his denial by giving details of the loans approved by the global financial body.
Mahathir says it again: "Wasn't me"“I had just criticised the World Bank, then I ask money from them for what? I would be stupid," was his immediate reaction to the claim by Anwar during a speech that Mahathir had not been walking the talk in his criticism of World Bank and International Monetary Fund, two bodies he frequently associated with his one-time heir apparent during the 1997-99 economic crisis.
Explaining further, Mahathir said he had refused to seek IMF or World Bank help during the crisis "because the so-called help would worsen the financial situation.

Umno-BN (1956 to 2011): The kleptocratic government

For 54 years UMNO/BN has been exploiting our resources both natural and man-made.
 Water
Umno-BN (1956 to 2011): The kleptocratic governmentWe have a lot of rain and many rivers but still we have water shortages and many villages still have no piped water and for those who have piped water it is of poor quality because it is tainted with high ferric compound and very fine blackish dirt. Is it impossible to provide hundred percent to the entire nation wherever it may be after 54 year of independence and being able to send an angkasawan (astronaut) to the international space station? Has not Malaysia been portrayed by UMNO-BN as everything “Boleh” (within reach)?
The UMNO-BN government has on several occasions warned us of the possible water crisis and that huge amounts of money is needed to transfer raw water from Pahang to Selangor. Melaka is also getting its raw water supply from the Muar River in Johore and Sungai Linggi in Negeri Sembilan. But is it really necessary to spend huge amount of money to transfer water from one state to another? Does it mean that the UNO/BN government has admitted failure when even after the privatization of our water treatment and supply system, we are going to face a water crisis?

The heirs of Umno and what would they be inheriting?

The heirs of Umno and what would they be inheriting?PAP of Singapore is a party for the elite. Nobody can be accepted as a member without having a recommendation and sponsorship by a PAP Member of Parliament. Then, they have to be vetted through, their backgrounds checked and verified before moving onto the next stage.
UMNO is the same but without clearly written-out rules. Even so, it is an elite party by all definitions with a mechanism long put in place and practiced as clearly as the one laid out in black-and-white by the PAP.
Whatever the rationale behind the PAP's stringent recruitment controls, UMNO's top leaders do it to ensure their party is full of people of their own kind; self-centred and corrupt. Ordinary UMNO members have no say at all and no power whatsoever; they can only bark at some trees. By the way they are also not really UMNO members. How so? Read on ...

Something fishy about the 'Datuk' nabbed for trying to bribe NFC investigators, says PKR

Something fishy about the 'Datuk' nabbed for trying to bribe NFC investigators, says PKR From snails-pace to faster-than-the-speed-of-light, Malaysian police suddenly nabbed a man who allegedly tried to bribe senior officers investigating a high-profile commercial crime, believed to be linked to the National Feedlot Corporation (NFC) debacle.
The police obtained a remand order from the magistrates court on Thursday for the 45-year-old man, allegedly a Datuk who heads a consultancy firm and runs a taxi company.
“I am not denying, I am not confirming. I’m saying I have no comments,” CCID chief Syed Ismail Syed Azizan told a press conference at the CCID office.

Tell me, which Umno leader does not have problem, asks Shahrizat as MACC begins probe

Amid signs that Prime Minister Najib Razak's Umno party was fast unraveling, hit by massive graft and infighting amongst its top leadership, the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission has announced that a special team would be formed to investigate claims that Umno minister Shahrizat Jalil's family had squandered public funds allocated to the RM250 million NFC cattle livestock project on personal items and luxurious assets.
Tell me, which Umno leader does not have problem, asks Shahrizat as MACC begins probe However, instead of appeasing public anger, all eyes are now on the drama at play in Umno. While Shahrizat has hinted she was ready to quit, it is unlikely that she will allow herself to be railroaded or be made an easy scapegoat of by her own party mates.
All eyes are now on how Najib, himself the subject of a probe by the French government over allegations of having taken a RM570 million kickback from French arms giant DCN, will deal with the NFC issue. Najib is also the Umno president.
“Tell me, which Umno leader does not have problem?” was Shahrizat's sharp retort when asked to comment whether she would heed the growing calls to resign, as recently reported in the Sin Chew newspaper.

PAS trio to be called to explain

Nasharuddin and Hasan AliDec 22:  PAS will call Selangor state Exco Dr Hasan Ali, former deputy president Nasharuddin Mat Isa and Selangor PAS information chief Saari Sungip to explain recent media statements.
Saying the party could not afford to waste time on squabbles, personal ego or refusal to toe party line,  PAS information chief Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man said their explanation was crucial.
“With the general election looming, PAS will not tolerate any sabotage whether internal or external that could affect the party’s final preparation,” said Tuan Ibrahim, repeating his advice that members embrace teamwork.

UMNO's 'MB-in-waiting' awaits probe over cash 'donations'

Dec 22:  Another UMNO leader lands himself in hot soup following the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission's move to investigate a blog's revelation that cash
Awang Adekpayments had been made to his personal bank account in return for a Public Works Department contract.
Deputy Finance minister Awang Adek Hussin, UMNO's choice Kelantan Menteri Besar should it manage to end PAS's long rule in the state, had earlier admitted that he received cash deposits from a Johor leader, but insisted that the payments were donation to fund social programmes for his Bachok UMNO division.
“I have all the records, of who the money comes from and what it is used for.  A special officer handles this and I will hand (the records) over to the MACC,” said Awang.
Saying his conscience was clear, Awang insisted that he would reject any contribution with vested interest.

Shahrizat's plea: ‘I’m just the wife of NFC chairman’

Dec 22:  "It’s my husband who's corrupt, I'm just the innocent obedient wife, really!" – That was Petaling Jaya Utara member of parliament Tony Pua’s interpretation of Women, Family and Community minister Shahrizat Jalil's latest attempt to absolve herself from the fiasco engulfing National Feedlot Corporation, the project awarded to her husband.
The UMNO Wanita chief's latest statement followed yet another damaging revelation that her family used NFC’s money to purchase a RM10 million luxury condominium unit in Singapore.
“I’ve said it before… legally and professionally, I am not involved in the NFC. I am just the wife of the NFC chairman. Don’t all women and families have husband?” she replied.
The embatled politician added that “as a responsible leader and veteran in politics who loves Barisan Nasional”, she would know what to do next.

Mustafa tells Hasan to stop media tirade against PAS

Hasan AliDec 22: Former Selangor PAS commissioner Hasan Ali was delivered another sharp rebuke today by PAS secretary general Mustafa Ali, telling the Selangor state Exco to stop using the media to criticise the Islamic party and emulate former deputy president Nasharudin Mat Isa by coming clean and shutting the door at UMNO.
Speaking to reporters, Mustafa who had earlier accused Hasan of dancing to UMNO's tune, said he would himself stop airing his views on Hasan if the latter stops issuing public statements on PAS, which Mustafa described as baseless criticism.
“When he makes wild claims, of course other PAS leaders would answer him back for the sake of the party. To stop this feud, it is simple. Hasan needs to stop talking. Then I too will stop talking as there will be no need to respond to his statements,” said Mustafa.
