Kerana Umno, MCA sanggup melawan Tuhan!

Malaysia adalah satu-satunya negara di dunia di mana hudud adalah dipolitikkan oleh parti-parti politik bagi menakutkan pengundi. Walaupun menganut agama Islam yang berpendapat bahawa undang-undang syariah sebagai bahagian penting agama, UMNO tidak ragu-ragu untuk menggunakan hudud sebagai peralatan politik untuk memenangi undi dari orang bukan Islam.
Apabila mereka tidak boleh terlalu mendedah sambil menidakkan hudud kerana takut kehilangan undi Melayu yang mereka agihkan kepada MCA, pemikiran bahawa MCA akan melakukannya di pihak mereka. UMNO sangat memerlukan undi bukan Islam. Tetapi modus operandi pengagihan ini telah memakan diri sendiri. UMNO dan MCA kini sedang dikutuk oleh orang Islam dan bukan Islam kerana mempermainkan hudud bagi mendapatkan beberapa kelebihan politik daripadanya.

Najib memerangkap diri sendiri, menghancurkan BN dengan keputusan Anwar ‘bersalah’

Perbicaraan liwat II Ketua Pembangkang, Anwar Ibrahim telah lama membayangi landskap politik negara semenjak tiga tahun yang lalu.
Hangat selepas pilihan raya umum 2008 yang melanda Pakatan Rakyat berkuat kuasa di lima buah negeri, Anwar dituduh liwat oleh pembantu lelaki berusia 27 tahun pada bulan Jun tahun yang sama. Masa dan pelaksanaan tuduhan, termasuk peranan yang dimainkan oleh Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, memberikan gambaran jelas bahawa satu muslihat politik telah muncul untuk menafikan Pakatan Rakyat rentang yang lebih besar bagi PU-13 akan datang.
Dan apa cara yang lebih baik daripada sasaran ketua pembangkang terbesar yang pertama di Malaysia. Malah, begitu jelas dan banyak pihak, termasuk Anwar sendiri, menjangkakan keputusan bersalah pada Januari 9, 2012.
"Proses ini tidak adil. Ini bukan satu perbicaraan yang adil dan kami telah mengemukakan bukti yang cukup meyakinkan, menarik, yang tidak boleh dinafikan, untuk menyokongnya," Anwar memberitahu pemberita selepas perbicaraan itu berakhir. "Setelah berkata demikian, kita masih menaruh harapan bahawa kewarasan akan diguna pakai dan hakim akan membuat keputusan berdasarkan fakta dan undang-undang."

PKR slap for Dr M: World Bank has records to prove he asked for money

GEORGE TOWN- Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim says he will not swear on the Quran that former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad had asked for funds from the World Bank in 1999.
He said the World Bank had records to confirm the approval of an application by the Malaysian Government that year.
“I have also issued a statement on the report by the World Bank. These are facts and the World Bank had approved the application by Malaysia. What is there to swear about?” he asked.
Dr Mahathir had, on Saturday, challenged Anwar to swear on the Quran in a mosque that he had written a letter to the World Bank asking for funds.
He had said that he was willing to swear in a mosque that he did not write such a letter.
Anwar said the World Bank's annual report showed the kind of loans given to Malaysia from 1999 and subsequently.

Shahrizat's cow scandal may cost BN Malay votes

KUALA LUMPUR — Malay voters in Penang are angry with Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s refusal to act on the RM250 million cattle scandal linked to a minister’s family, Lim Guan Eng said today.
“From the response of the public, more than 85 per cent of Malays see anger at corruption in [Barisan Nasional], especially Najib’s persistent and continued defence of his government’s refusal to act on the cows-and-condos scandal.
“I think this is concrete evidence of unhappiness amongst all Malaysians including the voters of Tasek Gelugor and Penang,” the Penang chief minister said, responding to Najib’s claim that Pakatan Rakyat (PR) was in a “fragile” state.
Lim, who is DAP secretary-general, observed the head of the ruling BN government appeared to have bigger issues on his plate than worrying about the state of affairs among his three political foes in the PR pact.

I’ve never had any plans to join Umno, says Nasharudin

“Even party president (Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang) was shocked when certain quarters made such statements.
“In PAS, the Syura Council decides on the eligibility of candidates while the president has a final say on the list of candidates and where they will contest,” he said.
Speculation has been rife within the party that Nasharudin, who is Bachok MP, and Selangor executive councillor Datuk Dr Hasan Ali, the former state party chief, would be dropped.
Certain quarters have alleged that the duo were also likely to cross over to Umno.
In a wide-ranging interview in a Malay daily published yesterday, Nasharudin poured his heart out, saying the party had veered from its original struggles and that certain developments within had him concerned.

Desperate BN recruits SOS groups Perkasa, Pekida and Himpun to help garner votes

Barisan Nasional, the once confident giant of Malaysian politics, seems ready to receive help from all sources to ensure its survival as the government of Malaysia. BN is not shy to enlist the help of the likes of PEKIDA, PERKASA and HIMPUN to herd the Malays into voting for them. And sad to say, herding is the right word to describe the mentality behind these radical groups that are endorsed and mainly made up of UMNO supporters.
PEKIDA’s patron is Tun Abdullah Badawi, PERKASA’s patron is Tun Mahathir Mohamad while HIMPUN managed to rope in the politically confused Hasan Ali. All these groups are placing their bets on UMNO and ready to use strong-arm tactics to ensure the vote of the Malays, who will be deciding the fate of the BN in the coming 13th general election.
PEKIDA which boasts a membership of two million, is standing by its oath that the votes of its members must go to BN. It is PEKIDA’s task to ensure that BN wins the coming election in order to allow for the Malay agenda to continue. PEKIDA went further to say that young voters do not understand about the 'politics of independence' due to being influenced by foreigners, blaming it on many Malays having been educated overseas.

Civil riots after Sodomy II: Are Umno and Utusan trying to instigate violence?

Utusan columnist Awang Selamat is privy to almost anything. He has the ear of the UMNO top dogs. They tell him things and he woofs. For example, he is probably also privy to who were behind the murder of Altantuya Shaariibuu and who plotted Sodomy II to frame Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim.
But as an obedient servant if not a slave to his master, he has to keep quiet over these two matters which are of prime interest to the Malaysian public. However, how does he have privy knowledge to the purported riots that are due to take place in the future?
Either he has a huge crystal-ball or he has just been fed morsels of information by his UMNO bosses. Is this Prime Minister Najib Razak's way of telling people that he and his party will pre-empt the people's anger at an unfair sodomy trial meant to lock up Anwar ahead of the 13th general election.
