KUALA LUMPUR 16 Dis: Angkatan Muda KEADILAN (AMK), menggerakkan kempen besar-besaran dalam usaha untuk membebaskan Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim dari tuduhan fitnah II.
Menurut Ketua AMK, Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin, kempen dinamakan #BebasAnwar901 itu dimulakan secara maya di laman ‘Twitter’ bagi menghimpunkan seramai mungkin sokongan untuk menuntut pembebasan terhadap Anwar.
Mahkamah Tinggi Kuala Lumpur menetapkan keputusan terhadap Anwar pada 9 Januari depan.
“Kita ingin mengumpulkan seramai yang mungkin mereka yang membantah usaha kerajaan ingin memenjarakan Anwar berkenaan dengan kes tersebut, yang mana kita lihat segala percaturan untuk memasukan beliau ke dalam penjara sudah dirancang dari awal lagi.
“Melalui kempen ini saya pasti rakyat akan datang memberi sokongan kepada Anwar pada hari keputusan itu nanti.

One senior Dutch rabbi told The Jerusalem Post that a ban would apply “double standards that target minorities.” The parliament voted in June to effectively ban Jewish and Muslim ritual slaughter. For this to become a law, however, the Senate must ratify the bill introduced by the Party for Animals. The bill forbids any slaughter that isn’t preceded by stunning, calling it inhumane. Both Islamic and Jewish law requires that animals be conscious before slaughter. |

'Time for UMNO to stop lies against Penang CM'
Its information chief Bukhori Ghazali said yesterday's court victory by Lim in his libel suit against right-wing Malay daily Utusan Malaysia was further proof that the accusations were lies.
"The accusations against Lim Guan Eng are all lies. The court has decided (that he is not anti-Islam and anti-Malay)," said Bukhori.
The Penang High Court ordered Utusan Malaysia to pay RM200,000 in damages and RM25,000 in costs to Lim for making defamatory statements suggesting that Lim and the DAP were foreign tools to undermine Islam.
