SYDNEY, Nov 30: Samsung has won the right to sell its Galaxy 10.1 tablet in Australia after the Federal Court overturned a ban on the sale of the computer.

The companies have been waging a battle in 10 countries over smartphone and tablet patents since April.

Up to two million British workers to go on strike

BBC
LONDON, Nov 30: Up to two million public sector workers are staging a strike over pensions in what is set to be the biggest walkout for a generation.

READY TO WALK OUT ... Staff from the University and College Union preparing for the strike, Nov 30.

Schools, hospitals, airports, ports and government offices will be among sites disrupted, as more than 1,000 demonstrations are due across the UK.

Unions object to government plans to make their members pay more and work longer to earn their pensions.

Lynas guarantee slammed following revelation

Harakahdaily
Nov 30: A revelation by Australia’s National Toxics Network that tailing ponds built by Lynas in Mount Weld would leak some 14,000 litres or five million litres of radioactive tailings waste annually has irked the Stop Lynas Coalition, saying it was proof that Lynas had breached its promise.

He said in order to get the RM100 aid, parents had been forced to appear at special events to promote UMNO.

Hadi: New law proves Malaysia a regressing Muslim state

Harakahdaily
Nov 30: The widely condemned Peaceful Assembly Bill was passed by Barisan Nasional members of parliament in spite of protests from opposition MPs and civil society activists.

In his reaction, PAS president Tuan Guru Abdul Hadi Awang (pic) slammed the BN government for failing to set a good example on Islamic justice to multi-racial Malaysians.

“Instead, they showed that Malaysia was a regressing Muslim country in terms of democracy.

"Why can’t the Muslims, who rule the country, and UMNO as the backbone of the government, set a good example in this plural society?” lamented Hadi at the parliament lobby.

Muhyiddin buktikan Umno sudah kering idea

Muhammad Faizal

Rasis: Terima Kasih Umno

Firdaus Jaafar
